Leadership Session - Building Resilience

In their fourth leadership session with Big Dave, the students had discussions about resilience and empathy. They defined resilience as “growing despite adversity,” and chatted about being empathetic towards others as you cannot know how big another person’s adversity is. They also discussed the benefits of having a growth mindset vs a fixed mindset, so that no matter what is happening in their lives they are continuously growing to overcome it.
