In their second building competition of the session, students followed strict guidelines to create bridges between tables using the provided materials. After their building time was up, it was time to test their strength! Students could choose how to distribute the weight by securing a string around the bridge, which was then tied to a force meter. Staff pulled the meter down, marking the most force the bridge could withstand before breaking or detaching from the table. Scores were decided based on adherence to the rules, bridge strength, and amount of materials used.
