D.C. Design Tour: National Cathedral

Architecture students took a trip to Washington National Cathedral, the sixth-largest Cathedral in the world! They enjoyed guided tours both outside the structure and around the neighborhood, taking their sketchbooks along to sketch any designs they found interesting. The cathedral follows a 14th Century English Gothic design, with trademark elements like stained glass windows and pointed arches that caught many students’ eyes.
