Data Security, Privacy, and Ethics

In one of today's workshops, students discussed some of the intricacies that come along with data collection and analysis. They split into groups to look at different case studies of companies and locate where there might be problems with the data, such as only collecting biased data or the ethics around using deep fake technology. They were asked to look at both sides, how someone could see it being used for both good and bad, before figuring out a new solution that would limit the bad side effects.
