Emergency Medicine Case Workshop with Dr. Reid Haflich!

Yesterday, the Health & Medicine, Nursing, and Medicine Intensive students had the opportunity to hear from emergency medicine specialist and longtime friend of the NSLC Dr. Reid Haflich! Dr. Reid carried out an interactive and fascinating presentation in which he gave the students an overview on his career path as well as allowing them to explore some of the emergency medical cases he’s worked on in the past. From ski resort accidents to flesh eating bacteria, students worked together to diagnose each case with the help of fun and engaging Dr. Reid. It was truly a medical student’s dream!
