Mock Trial

After spending the week learning and practicing essential skills, students argued their cases in the mock trial, meant to imitate a realistic court case. Students were bussed to two courthouses where they held a trial with facts given to each student in case packets. Both the defense and prosecution made opening and closing statements, called and questioned witnesses, and argued their points using techniques learned throughout the session.
