LEAD Faces the Ropes Course

After starting the morning with an activity about turning fear into excitement, LEAD students headed to the challenge course at the University of Maryland. They warmed up with some team building exercises before getting into their harnesses and starting the climb, four students at a time. They weaved through obstacles, scaled logs, and climbed suspended nets to make it to the top of the platform. Climbers then slid off and were slowly lowered to the ground by trained staff members.
