Communication Towers

TA groups went head-to-head in this hands-on building competition. Groups were first separated into two teams, where they were instructed to make the tallest tower with their given materials. After the timer ended, the teams switched towers and built off of what the other team had already started making. They then moved to the third phase of building where the TAs revealed that the teams had to work together to create one tower by combining both structures. Students then carried their creations outside where they battled the wind and measured the tallest tower.
