Field Trip: Museum of Science & Fanueil Hall and Quincy Market

The students visited Massachusetts General Hospital and attended a presentation by Dr. Helen Shih on oncology radiation and photon therapy, emphasizing non-chemical approaches to treat metastatic cancer. Dr. Shih also shared her personal journey as an Asian woman in medicine, overcoming obstacles like imposter syndrome. They later interacted with a psychology postgraduate to discuss vaping addiction among teens. Afterward, they explored the Museum of Science and enjoyed shopping and food at Fanueil and Quincy Market. It was a packed day with diverse experiences and ample free time.
