Discovering the World of Communication!

This morning, the Film Production & Scriptwriting program embarked on their biggest project of the session! Through a series of lectures and guided work periods, the students, broken up into small groups, will collaborate to write, film, and edit a 5 minute film to be shown at their end-of-session film festival. Today, they focused on creating log-lines and drafting their script. With help from American University film professors Ned MacFadden and Chris Prosser, students learned the fundamentals of scriptwriting, opening and closing shots, and the video and sound equipment they will be using for their projects. They will continue to develop their film over the coming days with continued sessions, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with!
