• Today our psychology students had the chance to hear a lecture from Ellen Zippi, a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley who studies Deep Brain Stimulation as well as Brain Machine Interfaces. She spent most of her time today teach the students about the latter and how these BMIs can be used to do things like allow a disabled person to use a prosthesis by activating it's motions using only their brain. The students were very engaged and found her work so interesting that many stayed behind to ask questions.

After the lecture the students attended workshops on various aspects of the study and practice of Psychology, where our very qualified TAs presented on some of the subjects they studied in college. We love seeing our own NSLC staff passing their knowledge on to the next generation and the students are always excited to learn from them!
