  • The Engineering students have been hard at work – designing, developing and perfecting their various projects. Each group has divided the responsibilities up between themselves, working on the RC Car, the Sea Perch robot, the Line Following Car (which requires coding) and their Product Pitch. It’s great to see them putting the skills to use that they learned in their earlier rotations, and the staff is looking forward to tomorrow when each of their projects will be tested!

  • ENGN students completed and competed their sea perch projects and line following cars today! In their TA groups, students created aquatic vehicles to perform tasks, and also program a car to follow a drawn line on the ground.

  • Yesterday many of the Psychology and Neuroscience students got to perform their first ever dissection! Even for those students who have had the opportunity to perform dissections before they had an entirely new experience with cow eyes. They had a lot of fun learning about the different parts of the anatomy and exploring how they relate to human eyes. Students in performed their second round of dissections, this time on cow vertebra and sheep brain. Through the process they learned more about the functions of the different parts of the anatomy.
